刹车真空泵，也叫刹车助力泵，是在制动过程中，控制进入助力泵的真空，使膜片移动，并通过联运装置利用膜片上的推杆协助人力去踩动和推动制动踏板，从而对驾驶员踩踏板的力产生放大的效果

刹车真空泵漏气的表现

我们可以通过一个小实验进行验证，打开发动机，运行1~2分钟后关闭，然后分三次踩踏板。正常工作的真空助力器踩第一脚时，由于真空助力器存在足够真空，其踏板行程正常；第二脚，由于助力器内已损失一些真空，所以踏板行程会减小很多；待踏第三脚时，真空助力器内真空已很少，所以踏板行程也很少，再踏下去就踏不动了

以上即所谓“一脚比一脚高”,这证明助力器无漏气，工作正常,如果每一脚踏板行程都很小，且行程都不变，即所谓的“脚特别硬”，则说明助力器漏气失效。漏气严重的，可听到漏气声音，对于漏气的助力器需予以更换

1、刹车性能差或或无刹车效果

2、从外观可看到真空泵外连接处有漏油现象

3、刹车踏板回位慢或不回位

4、踩下制动踏板后能听到明显的异响

5、刹车时，方向跑偏或抖动
