The ultimate vacuum that an oil-free vacuum pump can obtain is 2000~4000Pa, and a series atmospheric ejector can reach 270~670Pa. This product mainly has two rotors with opposite rotation directions located in the pump body, driven by a pair of synchronous gears. The rotors mesh with each other in the pump body, but there is a gap. The size of the gap mainly depends on the viscosity of the liquid. If it exceeds a certain The viscosity range must be adjusted to increase the gap.

When the motor rotor rotates, the capacity of the air inlet part of the inner cavity expands, and the gas is sucked in from the air inlet. The gas passes through the air filter and enters the cavity pump through the anti-return oil pump that is turned on. When the motor rotor rotates further, the leaves separate part of the pump chamber from the suction inlet. The volume of these pump chambers is reduced and the gas is compressed. The gas is discharged from the pump chamber through the automatic exhaust valve when the pressure is slightly higher than the atmospheric pressure.

So what is the reason why the oil-free vacuum pump cannot start normally? How to solve it?

Possible reasons:

● 1. The motor starter overload protection is too small or the setting value is too low.

● 2. If equipped with an AC motor: the capacitor of the motor is damaged.

● 3. Check the use of the pump oil. The oil has returned, the oil temperature is too low, the oil has deteriorated, and the pump cavity is filled with pump oil. Observe whether the oil quality has been emulsified (white foam) or carbonized (blackened). The deterioration of the pump will affect the friction between the vanes and the rotor, causing the blades to get stuck in the pump chamber.

Solution:

● 1. Repair or replace the motor.

● 2. Compare the setting data of the motor starter overload protection with the data on the motor nameplate, and make corrections if necessary. If the ambient temperature is high: the setting value can be increased by 5% based on the normal motor current.

● 3. Replace the pump oil, disassemble and repair the cylinder and other components. If the blades are seriously damaged, the pump blades need to be replaced.
